Silvretta High Alpine Road
Journey along the Silvretta High Alpine Road, a picturesque toll road winding its way between the towns of Gaschurn-Partenen in Vorarlberg and Galtür in Tyrol. Spanning roughly ten kilometres and 32 scenic hairpin bends, it offers unparalleled views of the Austrian Silvretta’s highest peak, Piz Buin, which stands 3,312m above sea level. Vermunt cable car (Partenen)
The Vermunt cable car is located in Partenen in Montafon and transports you swiftly and securely into the Silvretta Mountains. The aerial tramway effortlessly overcomes a difference in altitude of almost 700 metres. From the mountain station, you can continue on the yellow tunnel bus, also known as the tunnel taxi, all the way to the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe. Good news for your holiday with your dog in Montafon: your four-legged friend can accompany you on the mountain railway at no additional charge.

Return to Partenen via Verbellatal and the Ganifer.
