Lounge for connoisseurs and gourmets

Many guests of the Boutiquehotel Grandau relish a visit to the Kuhstall. Our lounge has a rustic charm that is perfect for indulging in a premium cigar or tasting the finest whiskeys in our diverse collection. Those who are so inclined can immerse themselves in a live sports game on our flat screen. Or simply reflect on the day in a cosy, convivial atmosphere. That’s what we call a holiday à la Grandau.

Our cherished Kuhstall, with around four decades of history, has quite a story. The name “Kuhstall”, which translates to “cowshed” in English, was inspired by the rustic wooden planks sourced from various stables that adorned it back in the early 1980s. This early transformation was made possible with the hands-on help of friends and colleagues. When it opened, it was the first après-ski venue in Montafon: the whole village partied here until the small hours. Host Milko has since taken over, and the lounge now boasts Chesterfield sofas and cosy seating areas.
